XCentium worked with a Fortune 100 Retailing Company that wanted to increase the value of its marketing campaigns by using data more effectively to target consumers. The challenge was to improve campaign precision and make marketing efforts more impactful, and the solution involved Microsoft BI Stack tools, including SQL Server Analysis Services and SQL Server Integration Services.
XCentium combined consumer behavior data with external demographic data in an Analysis Services database, then built market basket, product affinity, and consumer segmentation analyses to support targeted promotions across multiple channels. As a result, the Fortune 100 Retailing Company was able to market more effectively and achieved a significant sales lift.
