Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes (DAGB), a major infrastructure company managing Germany's national motorway network, faced the immense challenge of digitizing over 120 kilometers of historical documents within four years. This archive contained over 80 years of varied media, requiring high precision for color fidelity and data sensitivity to support critical infrastructure projects. To overcome this, they partnered with vendor XBP Global.

The results were significant, with 13,000 to 16,000 documents processed daily, leading to the full digitization of the 120 km archive, including microfiche and microfilm.
