MixRadio Looks to Go Platinum with Xamarin Platform, Test Cloud, and Insights

MixRadio, the mobile-first music streaming service, needed a faster way to expand from Windows to iOS and Android while maintaining high app quality and supporting features like offline mixes. To do that, MixRadio turned to Xamarin Platform, Xamarin Test Cloud, and Xamarin Insights as it built a cross-platform codebase and prepared for international growth.

Using Xamarin, MixRadio reused 65% of its code across iOS, Android, and Windows, completed its Android and iOS apps in ten months, and launched the Android app to more than one million downloads in Indonesia in under a month. Xamarin Test Cloud and Xamarin Insights helped automate quality assurance, eliminate 2,000 monthly manual testing hours, reduce reliance on offshore testers, and support strong ratings of 4.4 stars on Google Play and 4.5 on iTunes.
