DuPont Diagnostics takes food safety test results mobile with Xamarin.Forms

DuPont Diagnostics, part of DuPont Nutrition & Health, needed a faster way for sales and customer service teams to access food safety test results from its BAX® System without waiting for desktop access. The company turned to Xamarin.Forms to build a mobile app that could help staff respond more quickly to customer requests and improve service around critical contamination checks.

Using Xamarin, DuPont Diagnostics created a cross-platform solution with a single shared C# codebase, reusing much of its existing desktop code and keeping the app familiar for users. The rollout was rapid and cost-effective, delivering a positive response from customers and enabling quicker decisions; the internal app also laid the groundwork for future Android and public-facing versions, with DuPont noting that Xamarin saved significant time and justified its cost.
