Customs inspectors process goods coming in and out of Europe much faster

The Dutch Tax Office, responsible for customs inspections on millions of tons of goods, faced challenges with slow, paper-based manual processes. They partnered with Xamarin to help modernize their operations and improve efficiency.

Using Xamarin, the agency built secure, native apps that dramatically reduced manual paperwork, allowing inspectors to process goods much faster and saving both time and money. The success was so significant that their internal Mobile Competency Centre has now built over 25 apps with Xamarin for other government bodies, adopting a completely Agile workflow to iterate quickly.
