A Xamarin Case Study

17-Bit - Customer Case Study

17-Bit, a boutique video game studio behind *Skulls of the Shogun*, wanted to expand the game to a bigger audience by bringing it to mobile platforms while reusing its existing C# code. The team needed native iOS and Android apps but wanted to avoid switching to C++, so it turned to Xamarin for help.

Xamarin enabled 17-Bit to build native iOS and Android apps in far less time than traditional deployment methods. The results included a 4.3-star rating on Google Play, a 4.5-star rating in the iOS App Store, and a tripling of the game’s user base, which also strengthened the multiplayer experience by making the game available on more platforms.
