HomeServe, a provider of home emergency insurance to more than 5 million customers across the UK, USA, France and Spain, faced growing risk-management challenges as its product portfolio and international footprint expanded. Manual, spreadsheet-based processes made it difficult to collect, link and visualise risk data, maintain data integrity, and consistently log incidents—so HomeServe engaged Xactium to modernise its risk management approach using Xactium’s cloud-based risk management software.

Xactium delivered a centralised risk platform (first phase deployed in under three months) that consolidated risk data, provided a real-time governance view, and introduced validation rules, multiple scoring schemes, custom workflows and an incident-logging portal. As a result, HomeServe gained a single version of the truth, improved data quality and auditability, faster and more consistent reporting, and clearer organisation-wide risk visibility—with all incidents recorded and tracked via Xactium’s solution.
