Porto de Comunicação needed a faster, more user-friendly way to maintain a legally required registry of sports facilities in Porto. X-Plora was brought in to replace the time-consuming paper-based process and help turn a static directory into a digital experience.
Using the X-Plora framework, X-Plora created a georeferenced app with augmented reality, allowing users to view nearby sports facilities and their distance from them. The solution also added sporting events, clubs, available sports, and competition levels, resulting in a dynamic, mobile-friendly map of Porto’s sports ecosystem and a much more engaging tool for the local amateur sports community.
