A X-Cart Case Study
Rotopax, a Woods Cross, UT maker of outdoor fuel packs, launched its online presence in 2007/2008 and needed a robust, easy-to-manage ecommerce platform to sell its single-brand products across channels. Chief Technical Officer Rob Taylor chose X-Cart to build a simple, maintainable store, manage sales on eBay and Amazon, and address infrastructure and support needs.
Rotopax implemented the X-Cart shopping cart (using the "Fashion House" template and later upgrading to X-Cart 5) and subscribed to X-Cart tech support, which freed up internal resources and simplified upgrades. With X-Cart, Rotopax has sold online for 10 years, attracts about 9.4K monthly visitors, has 14.9K Instagram subscribers, and reports continued growth and confidence in scaling its online sales.
