BFC Creations, run by owner Suzan Makalinaw, had grown from a hobby into two separate sites selling embroidery designs and physical thread but lacked customer accounts, order histories, and unified purchasing. Needing PayPal Pro compatibility and a solution that could run on her existing server, she chose the X-Cart shopping cart in 2016 to consolidate both stores and add ecommerce functionality.

With help from the X-Cart development and design team, BFC Creations launched a single, branded store featuring customer accounts, order history, wish lists, reward points and PayPal Pro integration. The X-Cart solution eliminated “hours and hours” of customer-service work, brought all products into one easy-to-navigate site, improved the store’s visual differentiation in a crowded market, and has supported ongoing online sales since implementation.
