World Vision - Customer Case Study

World Vision worked with Wunderman Thompson in Taipei to address the rising number of child abuse fatalities in Taiwan, especially during the holidays when incidents can worsen. The challenge was to raise awareness and encourage the public to notice and respond to the issue of abused children.

Wunderman Thompson created the “Soundwaves Christmas Tree” by transforming recorded soundwaves of abused children into a Christmas tree displayed at Taipei Main Station. The installation generated strong social engagement, including 250 Facebook comments and 9,126 likes, and helped drive a 15% increase in calls compared with the previous year, despite having no media budget.
