The customer, Scotiabank, faced the significant challenge of Peru's 29.3% gender wage gap, one of the highest rates in Latin America. To directly address this systemic inequality, the bank partnered with vendor Wunderman Thompson on an initiative.

Wunderman Thompson's solution was the Bank on Equality program. For International Women's Month, Scotiabank automatically credited its female payroll clients with an additional 29.6% of their salary value in SCOTIA POINTS, its digital currency, to symbolically close the pay gap. The campaign generated 5MM in press coverage and 150K organic impressions, successfully highlighting the company’s pledge to fight inequality.
