Le Drugstore Parisien - Customer Case Study

The customer, Le Drugstore Parisien, was a small and unknown retail concept store in Paris struggling to compete for foot traffic against major nearby department stores. Their challenge, presented to vendor Wunderman Thompson, was to generate significant in-store traffic with an extremely limited budget and to do so quickly.

The solution implemented by Wunderman Thompson was "The Parisian Rendezvous," a campaign that involved relocating rented Lime scooters from the area around the large department stores to a pile in front of Le Drugstore Parisien. Since each scooter was tracked via GPS, users looking for their ride were directed to the boutique. Wunderman Thompson further incentivized the tactic by offering discounts to users who parked scooters at the location. This inventive solution resulted in a over 50% growth in store visits with zero media investment and garnered over 850K media impressions on the first day, earning multiple prestigious advertising awards.
