Case Study: RheinEnergie attracts a younger audience with shared mobility using Wunder Mobility

A Wunder Mobility Case Study

Preview of the RheinEnergie Case Study

How RheinEnergie was able to attract a younger customer audience through Shared Mobility

RheinEnergie, a municipal energy supplier in Cologne, wanted to expand its climate-friendly mobility offerings and attract a younger audience. To do this, it launched the e-scooter sharing service rhingo and partnered with Wunder Mobility to get the service up and running.

Wunder Mobility provided the shared mobility platform used to manage rhingo’s electric fleet, booking flows, customer cases, discounts, and payment processes. The result was a fully automated e-scooter sharing operation with 400 scooters in Cologne’s inner city, helping RheinEnergie reach younger users and support sustainable urban mobility, including student discounts to open new markets.
