Why Swiss Chocolate Relies on WSO2

FOITT, the Swiss Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication, needed to modernize and scale its e-Dec customs declaration platform and Fiscal-IT tax management platform. Both systems had become more complex over time, with outdated protocols, multiple technologies, and a need to support more than 40,000 enterprise users more efficiently. FOITT worked with WSO2, using WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Identity Server, to support its digital transformation goals.

WSO2 helped FOITT standardize the architecture across both platforms with API management, integration, routing, message transformation, and analytics. The solution enabled faster issue detection through message tracing and dashboards built with WSO2 Data Analytics Server, while improving flexibility for REST, SOAP, JMS, and legacy protocol integration. As a result, FOITT achieved a more streamlined, user-friendly, and scalable platform environment and reduced cost and time to market.
