Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was contracted to establish a Banking Software Service Bureau in Israel to lower market entry barriers for new banks. Their challenge was to provide a secure, reliable API platform with strong authentication, API grouping, subscription management, and analytics for the bureau's services. To meet this need, TCS turned to WSO2's API Management and Identity and Access Management solutions through the WSO2 OEM Program.

WSO2 delivered a uniform API Management platform with OAuth-based security and separate API gateways for digital channels. The WSO2 Identity Server provided adaptive authentication, adhering to strict security standards. The adoption of WSO2 was driven by its open architecture, support for open standards, and flexibility in hosting both regulated and non-regulated APIs. The solution provided the Banking Service Bureau with a secure, adaptable platform that accelerated digital transformation and supported emerging architecture patterns like microservices.
