SIBUR Powers Content Integration with Platform Built Using WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus

SIBUR Group, a leading global provider of gas processing and petrochemicals, faced the challenge of ensuring information consistency across its numerous subsidiaries and diverse computer systems. Their legacy document management and enterprise resource planning were not centralized, which hindered effective processes. To address this, they partnered with vendor WSO2 and its partner CROC to implement a solution using the WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus.

The solution involved building a scalable integration platform based on the open source WSO2 ESB to connect their new enterprise content management system with various ERP systems and other applications. This implementation by WSO2 accelerated document approval and search times, reduced printing and storage costs, and increased both staff performance and business process transparency. The platform's flexibility also allows for future integration with a new SAP ERP system and a wider rollout across all subsidiaries.
