Saudi Arabia-Based IT Services Provider Uses WSO2 Identity Server to Streamline Administration, Improve Productivity, and Reduce Costs

A Saudi Arabia Based IT Service Provider needed a way to streamline identity administration for Saudi Arabia’s expanding e-government Unemployment Assistance Program, which was serving millions of users and required secure online transactions. The company chose WSO2 Identity Server to help deliver single sign-on across multiple relying parties and simplify access for citizens and administrators.

WSO2 implemented an OpenID-based SSO solution with onsite support and a clustered architecture behind firewalls for secure authentication. The system went live in two months and has managed about 4 million users and 2,000 login requests per second, while improving productivity, centralizing user management, strengthening security, and reducing helpdesk and operational costs.
