Moldova Delivers E-Government Interoperability Platform Powered By WSO2 Middleware Platform

The E-Government Center of Moldova, an organization supporting the digital transformation of public services, was tasked with creating a national interoperability platform. Their challenge was to securely and efficiently exchange data between numerous government entities to meet their 2020 goal of making all public services available online. They selected the integrated, open source WSO2 middleware platform to serve as the foundation for this critical initiative.

WSO2 provided a cloud-based solution using several products, including WSO2 Data Services Server, WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus, and WSO2 Identity Server. The implementation resulted in a trusted platform that processes up to 5,000 messages per second and has already facilitated the exchange of over 3 million data messages. The success with WSO2 has connected 15 government institutions, completed 30 integration projects, and provided the scalable foundation for the nation's ongoing digital transformation.
