IT Digital Transformation Ltd (ITDT) worked with the city of Heraklion, Crete, to build a web portal for more than 6,000 users, while meeting strict GDPR requirements and improving authentication. To support unique user profiles and a unified sign-in experience, ITDT chose WSO2 Identity Server.

WSO2 helped IT Digital Transformation deliver a GDPR-ready identity management platform with centralized identities, support for existing user stores, and inbound authentication options. The project achieved the required security level, and its success has led to plans to expand the platform to other municipalities in Crete.
