A WSO2 Case Study
The State of Arizona, facing challenges with redundant solutions, high IT costs, and inefficient data sharing across its many agencies, sought to build a centralized private PaaS. Their goal was to enforce standards, improve security, and foster development efficiency. To address this, the state partnered with vendor WSO2 to leverage its integration and identity and access management capabilities as the foundation for their new Arizona Enterprise Services Platform (AESP).
WSO2's technology was used to build the core of the AESP upon existing AWS infrastructure, creating an API-centric platform for custom application development and secure data sharing. The solution, supported by WSO2's Managed Cloud, significantly reduced the maintenance burden on the internal IT team and paved the way for improved efficiencies and cost reduction. While some aspects like the pricing model are still evolving, the platform is considered a success with several new applications in the pipeline.
