Case Study: Lindex achieves a modern omnichannel shopping experience with WSO2

A WSO2 Case Study

Preview of the Lindex Case Study

Innovating with APIs in the Fashion Retail Industry

Lindex, the Scandinavian fashion retail chain, needed to modernize its digital services while working around a legacy monolithic architecture and growing technical debt. As it expanded e-commerce and new customer apps, Lindex wanted a more agile, omni-channel experience with shared product, pricing, and promotion data across web, stores, and mobile, and turned to WSO2 for an open source API and identity solution.

WSO2 implemented WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Identity Server to expose backend functions through a managed API layer and support secure authentication across multiple apps and user groups. The rollout enabled Lindex to gradually replace backend capabilities, support five development teams, and deliver modern customer experiences with less risk; the company described the middleware as “rock solid” and said the approach was “risk-free” while improving shopping experiences for customers and employees.
