Case Study: The World Bank improves disaster response coordination with WSO2 API Manager

A WSO2 Case Study

Preview of the The World Bank Case Study

Improving Coordination for Natural Disaster Responses with a Geospatial Data Sharing Platform

The World Bank, supporting Bangladesh’s GeoDASH geospatial data sharing platform, faced major challenges around interoperability, data sharing, and coordination across multiple government and public-sector systems. As more platforms and e-services emerged, there was a need for secure access, standardization, and a central way to manage and share services.

WSO2 API Manager was used to build the National e-Service Bus and integrate GeoDASH with other e-services, enabling secure access, interoperability, access control, and monetization. With WSO2, the initiative improved operational efficiency and coordination while supporting integrations such as identity verification, recruitment, geospatial data, and registration services across the public sector.
