A WSO2 Case Study
Farfetch, the luxury fashion e-commerce platform connecting brands, boutiques, partners, and customers in 190 countries, needed a more scalable way to handle stock updates, orders, returns, and partner integrations as its network of more than 1,000 brands and boutiques grew. Its original SOAP-based API approach was no longer sustainable, so Farfetch turned to WSO2 Enterprise Integrator to support a new integration platform.
With WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, Farfetch built FFLink, a scalable integration platform that standardizes partner connectivity through shared APIs, plug-ins, and an event-driven architecture for both synchronous and asynchronous transactions. The new setup created a central back office for configuration, monitoring, and support, helping Farfetch manage partners more efficiently, anticipate issues, and scale alongside rapid growth while continuing to evolve its internal API architecture.
