Eurasian Economic Union Relies on WSO2- based Integration Platform to Foster Economic Collaboration Between Nations

The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), a major economic bloc of five nations, needed to overcome complex data-sharing challenges between its member states' government agencies. Their goal was to create a unified platform to foster economic collaboration by enabling the seamless, secure exchange of information. To address this, the EEU engaged WSO2 partner CROC to build an integration solution using WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus (WSO2 ESB) and WSO2 Application Server.

CROC implemented a WSO2-based integration platform that connected over 300 government data sources, handling critical state-to-state data interchange and providing services for citizens and businesses. The WSO2 solution successfully processed over 100 transactions per second, enabling the EEU to onboard new member nations quickly and meet its requirement for real-time data exchange without vendor lock-in. The platform was instrumental in facilitating the entry of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan into the Union by allowing the necessary customs and tax data exchange.
