A WSO2 Case Study
SEIN, an epilepsy treatment and research foundation, faced challenges in securely and efficiently sharing sensitive patient data due to complex regulations and a landscape of disconnected IT systems with expensive point-to-point interfaces. To improve information flow with hospitals, insurers, and partners, they engaged WSO2 strategic partner Yenlo to implement a new integration solution.
The solution was built using the open-source WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus running on SUSE Linux, which provided a high-performance, HL7-compliant backbone for data exchange. This implementation from WSO2 and Yenlo allowed SEIN to centralize data management, reduce errors, and cut the time and budget required for data exchange by more than 60%. The WSO2 platform also provides a flexible foundation for future growth with easily integrated components.
