ING Model Bank needed to modernize its banking middleware to stay competitive, while maintaining information integrity, security, high performance, and better customer experiences. The bank faced the challenge of supporting evolving customer needs without relying on disruptive, large-scale migrations, and it used WSO2’s integration platform, including WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus and WSO2 Message Broker, to help address this.

WSO2 implemented a hybrid bus model built on REST and event APIs to connect applications more simply and efficiently. As a result, ING Model Bank could automatically deploy APIs from Swagger definitions with zero downtime and speed up integration through API prototyping and scripting, improving agility while reducing deployment complexity.
