Case Study: The Warehouse Group achieves scalable, resilient integration with WSO2

A WSO2 Case Study

Preview of the The Warehouse Group Case Study

Building a Scalable, Resilient, and Cost-Effective Integration Platform at The Warehouse Group

The Warehouse Group, one of New Zealand’s largest retail groups, needed a more scalable and resilient integration architecture after its shared VM-based setup became hard to manage, slow to update, and prone to issues affecting multiple teams. Working with WSO2 and its WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, TWG set out to improve consistency, automation, and troubleshooting across its integration environment.

WSO2 implemented a containerized, cloud-agnostic integration platform on Kubernetes using Docker, Helm charts, AWS EKS, RDS, and EFS. The new setup delivered isolated deployments for each team, minimal downtime, and automatic scaling, while cutting onboarding from 3–5 days to 2 hours and enabling pods to scale in as little as 60 seconds.
