DigiB, the digital hub of Brenntag, needed to replace a legacy intercompany trading platform that was slowing internal orders and requiring up to three days to complete. To digitize and unify trading processes across Brenntag while ensuring seamless ERP integration, DigiB turned to WSO2 and its API management and integration technologies.

WSO2 helped DigiB build Brenntag Source — Intercompany Trade on a microservice, cloud-based, container-friendly architecture using WSO2 API Manager, Enterprise Integrator, and Identity Server. The new platform, integrated with SAP ERP and other internal systems, cut internal order processing time by over 60% and reduced turnaround from three days to one, while improving agility, scalability, resiliency, and regional throughput.
