Apogee, Europe's largest multi-brand managed workspace services provider, faced a challenge in automating service requests and managing customers. They needed an industry-standard, secure communication mechanism to enhance their services and reduce delivery delays. After finding other on-premises options too expensive or feature-deficient, they selected WSO2 API Manager from vendor WSO2 to build a solution.
Using WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Micro Integrator, Apogee built a secure, API-centric platform. This solution from WSO2 allowed them to meet client authentication and security requirements much faster than internal development could. As a result, Apogee transformed from being exclusively an API consumer to publishing its own secure APIs, which helped support and expand its customer offerings.
