Amorepacific, a leading beauty and cosmetics retailer, needed to digitally transform by unifying 20 fragmented brand membership systems into a standardized omnichannel subscription service. Their challenge was to lower login barriers and enable seamless single sign-on (SSO) across sales channels to improve customer experience and increase registrations. They chose WSO2 and implemented WSO2 Identity Server for this solution.
WSO2 provided a high-performance identity management solution deployed on AWS, enabling simple authentication via social logins and mobile auth. The open-source model allowed Amorepacific to test thoroughly before purchase. With WSO2's support, they successfully deployed an OIDC-based SSO system, which led to a marked increase in new customer registrations, an improved KPI index for subscriptions and churn rate, and enhanced customer engagement through a streamlined digital experience.
