Kuraoka Clinic, a bilingual Internal Medicine and Family Practice with offices in Atlanta, GA and Dublin, OH, needed to onboard staff and streamline care for a busy Japanese-speaking patient population. When RN Tomoko Fukushima relocated from Canada she faced the twin challenges of adapting to a new country and learning U.S. EMR/Practice Management workflows, billing codes (CPT/ICD-9) and a move away from paper charts across two locations.

Implementing WRS’s web-based EMR and Practice Management solved those problems with searchable diagnosis codes, intuitive note templates, e-prescribing, lab-result integration, scheduling, fax-queue and remote access. The clinic now documents faster (charting time cut by about two-thirds), improves patient satisfaction, reduces paper use, simplifies billing and enables easy staff training—outcomes that led staff to recommend WRS to colleagues.
