Unique Healthcare of Orlando, a family/internal medicine practice led by Dr. Edwards, needed an EMR that would support its relationship-driven care model while being easy for physicians, staff and interns to use. The practice sought a solution that could handle varied charting needs, streamline scheduling and billing, eliminate paper charts and sticky notes, and allow remote access so clinicians could respond quickly to patient needs.

The result: workflows were simplified, coding and billing accuracy improved, e-prescribing and reminders sped care, patient communication increased, and the practice reclaimed the equivalent of about two staff-hours per day — freeing clinicians to spend more time with patients.
