Janice L. Birney, MD, P.C. is a Littleton, Colorado otolaryngology and facial surgery practice that struggled with slow, paper‑based workflows and an unsatisfactory legacy EMR. Staff and IT lead Corey Sexton faced long patient check‑in times, incompatible hardware and scanning systems, fragmented scheduling, manual faxing and inefficient e‑prescribing — all of which hindered daily operations and forced the doctor to carry paper charts home.

The practice implemented WRS Health’s web‑based ENT EMR (going live after a three‑week rollout) with a single account rep, digital pen check‑in, patient portal, integrated scheduler, e‑faxing, insurance card OCR and tailored “mini” templates.
