Penny Appeal creates branded orphan profiles rapidly for sponsor program

PennyAppeal.org, a global relief and development organization, needed a faster way to create consistent, personalized, and branded orphan profiles for its OrphanKind sponsorship program. As more children were enrolled each day, the Photoshop-based process became too slow and repetitive to keep up with demand. Wrk helped address this challenge using a hybrid automation approach.

Wrk implemented a workflow combining bots and its global Wrkforce to generate, edit, and upload orphan profiles efficiently. The process pulled data from Excel, retrieved design files, built and updated Google Slides templates, and saved the finished files to Google Drive. As a result, PennyAppeal.org created 66 profiles in two weeks, improved cost efficiency, increased sponsorships and donations, and freed staff to focus on higher-value work.
