A Wrike Case Study
True Colors Fund, a national nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness among LGBT youth, faced rapidly growing project volume managed by a very small team using email, Asana, Google Forms and other scattered tools. With work ranging from 10‑task grant efforts to 300‑task summits, they needed a single system that provided timeline planning, scheduling, reporting and granular permissions to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
They implemented Wrike integrated with G Suite—linking Google Docs, syncing calendars, using Gmail and Chrome integrations, and building reusable project templates and tracking estimated vs. actual time. The result was consolidated workflows, faster delivery of more projects, improved stakeholder transparency and reporting, better time estimates, and reduced administrative load so staff feel less overwhelmed and more creative.
