Chosen Foods is a San Diego–based natural foods brand founded in 2011 and best known for bringing avocado oil mainstream. With about 100 employees across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and a sister company in the Netherlands, its creative and product development teams struggled with fragmented communication and manual processes—no centralized system for intake and assignment, poor project visibility, and limited alignment and accountability.
Chosen Foods implemented Wrike (Dashboards, Custom Workflows, Blueprints, Request Forms, Proofing, Time Tracking and integrations) and rolled out a Wrike Champions training program to standardize processes. The result: 100% buy-in on the new product development process, a 20% reduction in process deviation (on track for 2020 YOY), a 30% increase in creative output within four months, four hours of meeting time saved per week, and the ability to complete 2,800 deliverables and 93 packaging projects in 2019 with a small in‑house team—eliminating the need for a dedicated traffic controller and improving transparency and accountability.
