How JERA Simplified Project Management and Reporting With Wrike

JERA Co., Inc., one of the world’s largest power generation companies and proponent of “Zero Emissions 2050,” manages more than 100 DX projects annually. As projects shifted from long infrastructure programs to faster, incremental ICT deliveries, Excel-based tracking became a bottleneck—data was inconsistent, quarterly reports were slow to produce, and management lacked real-time visibility across projects.

JERA implemented Wrike as a low-cost, easy-to-use project operating system with standardized fields, Kanban and Gantt views, BI and time tracking, and secure external collaboration. The change cut progress-report preparation to under an hour, enabled on-demand management reporting and earlier intervention on delays, and drove company-wide adoption (about half of 5,000 employees registered), laying the groundwork to centralize project and financial data for more data-driven decisions.
