Bonnier Broadcasting Brings Promo Production In-House & Builds Entire Production Department Using Wrike

Bonnier Broadcasting, a Stockholm-based arm of the Bonnier Group that produces roughly 1,500 promotional trailers per year for 10 TV channels, faced disorganized, spreadsheet-based processes and siloed communications after outsourcing promo production. In 2016 Michael O’Neill was charged with building an in-house promo department but needed a system to replace 10–15 Excel sheets, provide a clear schedule view, and restore visibility and accountability across projects.

By adopting Wrike — using reports and dashboards, custom 15-step workflows, and Request Forms as creative briefs — Bonnier centralized communication, eliminated manual tracking, and gave producers a clear timeline and workload visibility. The result: faster, more reliable delivery (over 1,000 promos produced in a year with no missed deadlines), more effective meetings and resource allocation, and a scalable production model that keeps promos on message and on schedule.
