Imbibe, a Wrike customer, needed a faster way to capture specific customer and project parameters each time a new project started — a process they had been doing by manually typing into task descriptions or attaching Word templates, which was slow and inefficient.
They solved this by adding a Google Chrome extension that inserts a “Select templates” button into Wrike tasks, letting users choose from four predefined forms (e.g., “New Project Brief”) and fill key fields like flavor, sweetener system, and color. The lightweight HTML/JS extension (built in-house or via a freelancer) standardized task formatting, saved the sales team hours per week, and improved data organization and workflow efficiency.
