Turning Digital Traffic Into Pre-Opening Hype

Veggie Grill wanted to expand into Chicago, a market where the brand had little awareness, and turned to Wpromote for help driving pre-opening interest and informing potential customers about the new restaurant launch dates. The goal was to raise brand awareness, attract relevant search traffic, and better understand competition in the area.

Wpromote launched a non-branded search campaign, then split it into four targeted campaigns around vegan, vegetarian, plant-based, and healthy dining keywords to optimize bidding and relevance. Wpromote also used geotargeting and bid modifiers to prioritize nearby users, while continuously testing ad copy to build urgency. The result was 11,061 clicks before opening, 180,110 total ad impressions, and a 140% increase in clicks in the final month-over-month period.
