World Bicycle Relief mobilizes people through bicycles, having distributed nearly 500,000 bikes across 20 countries. As a truly global nonprofit with offices and supporters around the world, WBR needed a website refresh that would serve localized content via geolocation so visitors see the correct office, currency, messaging and donation flow, while keeping the solution easy for site administrators to maintain.

Blue State handled the creative refresh and DxDy partnered with WP Engine to implement WP Engine GeoTarget on the WordPress site, launching the new global site in three months. The relaunch enabled IP-based personalization—custom navigation and footers, geo-specific email and donation flows, localized imagery, CTAs, legal text and lighter pages for low-bandwidth areas—improving relevance, engagement and the site’s ability to drive donations worldwide.
