Migrating to WP engine allows Clipchamp to bring fragmented installations together into one easilymanageable site

Clipchamp, a Brisbane-based video technology company founded in 2013, provides in-browser tools and a WordPress Plugin/API that let users record, edit, compress, convert, and collect videos with client-side processing. As the product lineup grew (including a new editor), the site expanded into two WordPress installations plus Angular pages and nine translated sites, causing product confusion, management complexity, and performance issues that required a full relaunch and consolidation.

Clipchamp migrated to WP Engine to combine the fragmented installations, unify branding under Clipchamp Collect/Create/Utilities, and rely on WP Engine’s migration expertise for redirects and translated pages. The single WP Engine–hosted site launched smoothly, runs more reliably, is easier to update and manage, and has improved the customer experience—its Recorder and Uploader plugin is now in WP Engine’s Solution Center and customers report tangible benefits in hiring and engagement.
