Bamboo Clothing, a Plymouth-based sustainable apparel company founded in 2006, sells bamboo-based clothing online and through retailers. As the business grew, its decade-old custom eCommerce platform became a bottleneck—even small site changes required development projects—so the team needed a more flexible, staff-friendly CMS to make quick updates to layouts, promotions and functionality.

Bamboo moved to WooCommerce hosted on WP Engine, using WP Engine’s managed platform (one‑click backups, clone installs, rapid support) and Application Performance Monitoring to monitor and fix issues fast. The new setup enabled faster iteration and richer personalization, and over the last year the company doubled both website visitors and orders.
