Ambio AS, a Stavanger-based software consultancy founded in 1998, builds web applications and bespoke business software. Its largest client, EL-PROFFEN—a network of about 200 locally owned electrician companies—needed a self-service portal so members could create and manage unique web pages, and Ambio had to migrate roughly 300 customers off its decade-old proprietary CMS (NetBlast) to a modern, supported platform.

Ambio selected WP Engine’s WordPress Digital Experience Platform to handle migration, hosting and administration, completing the move with no downtime. The WordPress solution provided content hubs, intranets and EL-PROFFEN’s homepage, strengthened the client relationship, supported high-traffic sites (e.g., Stavanger Concert Hall’s 3.5M visits) and enabled ticketing and other integrations—freeing Ambio to focus on design and win additional high-profile clients.
