Worldly Helps OVS Become #1 in Transparency Among the Largest Fashion Brands

OVS, a major Italian retailer, faced the challenge of gathering environmental and social data from its extensive network of over 500 manufacturers to meet its ambitious sustainability goals, including a 46% reduction in Scope 3 emissions. This process was highly manual and complex, making it difficult to track progress and ensure data quality at such a large scale.

To solve this, OVS implemented Worldly's platform, specifically its Adoption Tool, to automate supplier communication and track the progress of Higg FEM and Higg FSLM assessments. Using Worldly's Analytics, the company identified key areas for improvement, such as phasing out coal energy. The results were significant: OVS achieved its goal of collecting data from 100% of its manufacturers, used the verified data to earn the #1 spot on the Fashion Transparency Index, and identified that only 0.2% of production relied on coal, enabling targeted action to meet its emissions target.
