A Worldline Case Study

Preview of the Malmö Nation Case Study

Payment solutions for flexible business

Malmö Nation, one of Lund’s largest student nations with about 3,200 members, 95 officials and some 600 active functionaries, needed a reliable, easy-to-manage payment solution that works across multiple premises and temporary event locations. Worldline (via its Bambora offering) supplied Bambora One card terminals and acquiring services, and supported a WEIQ mobile pre-sales solution to address the nation’s mobile, high‑turnover environment.

Worldline’s approach combined wireless Bambora One terminals, short‑term terminal rentals and WEIQ app integration through Bambora acquiring, allowing Malmö Nation to move devices between reception, restaurant, nightclub and offsite events, use all eight terminals on busy days and rent an extra 5–7 terminals for 1–2 months at big events. The integrated Bambora reporting simplified accounting for rotating teams of 200–300 staff, support replaced hardware and supplies within a day, and the result was cost‑effective, seamless payments and smoother event operations for Malmö Nation.
