CaterTrax, a widely used catering management software, needed to update its legacy SOAP payment integration to meet 2018 security requirements (CVV handling and TLS 1.2) so customers could continue processing payments. To avoid lengthy redevelopment and downtime across its hundreds of merchant accounts, CaterTrax partnered with Worldline (Bambora) for an integration upgrade.

Worldline worked with CaterTrax’s account management, integration specialists, and IT teams to migrate from SOAP to a REST-based payment integration, adding modern authentication and security without disrupting operations. The seamless transition saved substantial development time, moved existing merchants efficiently, and elevated CaterTrax from a Level 1 to a Level 2 Data Processor, unlocking interchange-rate reductions and other cost-saving payment features.
