A World Software Corporation (Worldox) Case Study
Woods & Aitken LLP, a multi-office law firm with locations in Lincoln, Omaha, Denver, and Washington, D.C., needed a way to support collaborative document access across offices without adding bandwidth costs or disrupting users. As latency increased on its MPLS network, the firm looked to World Software Corporation (Worldox) and its document management software, Worldox Enterprise, to improve remote access performance.
World Software Corporation (Worldox) implemented Worldox Enterprise with a back-end server in Lincoln to optimize speed over the firm’s lower-bandwidth connection. The rollout took only a few hours, required no additional end-user training, and quickly improved performance; after a short testing period, it was deployed to the Omaha office. The result was virtually eliminated support calls from Omaha and a lower total cost of ownership compared with increasing bandwidth.
