Law, Snakard & Gambill, P.C., a Fort Worth law firm, was struggling with an outdated DocsOpen document management system that had broken text search, poor remote access, and aging infrastructure. The firm needed to migrate 760,000 documents, preserve WordPerfect compatibility, improve security and disaster recovery, and find a cost-effective replacement, so it evaluated World Software Corporation (Worldox) and its Worldox DMS.

World Software Corporation (Worldox), working with resellers and integration partners, implemented Worldox DMS, Worldox/Web Mobile, and the Worldox Omega Connector, then completed a careful migration and cutover in January 2013. The result was a modernized, efficient system with secure remote access from mobile devices, successful handling of the large document migration, and a solution that was significantly more affordable than alternatives—quotes were $30,000 to $90,000 higher than Worldox.
